It's a Boy!

This weekend we threw a shower for my older sister, Tara, who is expecting a little boy toward the end of June! It was relaxing visiting with friends and family, munching on delicious food, and cooing over the impressively tiny baby clothes (am I the only one who loses it over itty bitty baby socks?)

Tea Time, Time for Tea

This week my older sister Tara was in town so we decided to head to Chicago and have a little fun. Enjoying  afternoon tea at the legendary Drake Hotel has been on our to-do list for a few years and we finally experienced it! There is something about sipping on exotic teas and munching on tiny sandwiches to the soothing songs of a harp that makes you think, this is relatively ridiculous. Throw in my best British accent, and a little hotel exploration and I can safely say we had ourselves a fabulous time.

I love spending time with my family and can't wait to have both Tara and Mackenzie back in town in just 2 weeks for Tara's baby shower! 

Oh and also, whoever I end up marrying, can we have our reception here?

Today I found out that I'm in the middle of a Brooks Brothers billboard on the corner of 18th & Broadway in NYC! If you haven't already heard, Kiel James Patrick is teaming up with Brooks Brothers on an exclusive collection to be released soon! You should check it out here, as it is going to be amazing. Until the collection is released, I am going to revel in the fact that my big ol' face is having a staring contest with New York at this very moment! Life is crazy.

California Excursion Part 1: Santa Monica

After landing in LAX on Thursday (and singing a little Miley quietly to myself) my lovely friend Adrienne picked me up and we had ourselves a grand old time walking Santa Monica Boulevard, cruising the beach, and catching up on all things post-high school (and post-our last visit).
